I said “sure, as long as you get it on my phone too”. After watching it back, I chucked it up on Facebook straight away, thinking “This will be sure to make people laugh”, not thinking it was about to go anywhere near viral.

I must say that day and the following week was absolutely crazy for me on social media. This video has had support from The Lab Bible, Mixmag and many more. Here is the video:

Monday Evening Rave Sessions

Back in March, I started a weekly live stream called Monday Evening Rave Sessions. Every Monday I would dance around whilst a DJ plays a set. It all started when my friend, Alex Parkin uploaded a set from the weekend, having nothing to do, I decided I would live stream me dancing around to his set. A few weeks down the line and I started getting DJs come and provide a mix instead of me having to flick though tunes on SoundCloud or Youtube. From there it has got even bigger where we have taken it to different locations & venues:

  • Basement 45, Bristol
  • The Doghouse, Bristol (Monday Evening Rave Sessions In The Doghouse)
  • A private warehouse, Bristol (Monday Evening Rave Sessions In The Warehouse)
  • A field, Cheddar
  • Quiddles Cafe, Chesil Beach, Portland (Monday Evening Rave Sessions On The Beach)
  • Starworks Warehouse, Wolverhampton (Monday Evening Rave Sessions In The Warehouse)

The following DJs have played on Monday Evening Rave Sessions:

  • Above Board
  • Arran Wells
  • Ben Remember (Toolroom)
  • Darren C
  • Flock
  • Frazer Mitchell
  • Geminus
  • InDepth DnB
  • Inner B b2b Subnote (Introvert Records)
  • Jay Young
  • Lee Pearce (FXtion Records)
  • Little Martyn
  • Lloyd Kelsall
  • Matt Bradshaw
  • Mr Whompy DJs
  • R.E.D Sounds
  • Rob Oliver
  • Roland Wiki
  • Sam Wiltshire
  • Scotty E
  • Simon Lloyd
  • SIW3L
  • The Acid Experiment DJs
  • Tiernan-Locke

I have to give a special mention to Geminus, who soon became resident DJs for Monday Evening Rave Sessions In The Warehouse and On The Beach. They have been played a huge part in helping with the planning and setting up the sound systems etc.

Simon Lloyd also helped organise the Monday Evening Rave Sessions In The Doghouse series.
