Weekend Review – The Social Festival, Abode and MVMNT

The Social Festival 2016

Saturday 10th September I was at The Social Festival at the Kent County Showground.

This year’s location was much better suited than 2015. The layout of the site and no sound restrictions were a huge improvement!

My favourite stage was by far The Stables:

It was great to meet up with good friend and fellow raver Jed again. Of course, as soon as the gates were open, we were in there raving with maximum energy! Big up to Caruana providing mix.

The indoor stages also gave much more of a warehouse feel to them than standard festival tents.

What a rave it was this year. Cannot wait until next year!

After The Social Festival I made my way up to Birmingham. It had been a good month or so since I had last been raving in the Midlands, so a visit was very much needed. Abode were running a night at Rainbow so I definitely went to check that out!

I love raving on The Rainbow terrace and Abode were really smashing it! It was also great to catch up with some rave friends too.

Some friends were playing at MVMNT at Amusement 13, so I went over there for about an hour to go see them and have a little rave. Of course they were smashing their sets as always. Big up to Hott Like Detroit getting the zebra vibe on:

If you haven’t been to Amusement 13 yet, you should definitely check it out!
