After being involved in a road collision on Thursday and unfortunately losing my motorbike due to damage as a result (I luckily walking away with no serious injuries), travelling was a little more complicated and I was feeling fairly drained after the impact. However I was still determined to get to the rave.
Saturday 30th July was the day of MADE festival in Birmingham at The Rainbow Venues. I had been to the year before and it was a great day! So I was definitely coming back this year.
It had been a while since the zebra mask had been used and so MADE was the designated rave of its return:
It was a bit more confusing and commercial this year with the varied lineup styles and not following a clear pattern with the different stages, personally I felt MADE 2015 was better and I had more fun. Nether the less 2016 was still solid and I can’t wait to be back next year on July 29th 2017!
My good friends at Funkin House, who help run the bigger nights on Monday Evening Rave Sessions (including the club rave, the field rave and the beach rave); were hosting a boat party in the day time. I couldn’t attend as I was at MADE, but I was of course not surprised to hear it went off 100%! I went back to Bristol after MADE and popped into the after party they were having to catch up with everyone and of course, that was going off too!
2Gether As One
2Gether As One was an event hosted around multiple venues in Bristol. Although I spent the night raving at Blue Mountain and Lakota. Both clubs were booming and the vibes were electric. It was great to carry on the raving at such a fun event. I was loving life raving to Liam Harris and Tom Lark (FLOCK)’s set at Lakota in the Parallel Dimensions stage:
