Secret City – Not for the faint-hearted

The city is ours…

There is nothing like a Secret City rave, taking over abandoned buildings of the most haunting and industrial the midlands have to offer. Ravers will be given a clue via SMS at 8pm to where the location is and they have 3 hours to find the rave before doors are locked for the night. You may think you’ve been to an underground warehouse rave, but not until you’ve been to a Secret City rave.

Secret City have taken over a number of buildings to date including derelict warehouses, a basement below the crown courts and a monastery.

Check out the after movie for the Secret City boxing day 2014 rave:

On October 30th 2015 Secret City are celebrating their first birthday by going to a new level: HOSTAGE.

400 hostages will be blindfolded, kidnapped and taken to a rave in an abandoned 18th century derelict slaughter house.

  • Hostages will be blindfolded until inside the location
  • Mobile phones must be switched off and sealed in an envelope provided
  • All clothing MUST be black
  • All ravers must be at the city centre hostage point for 10pm.

The Secret City tortures will inflict the very best in underground House and Techno at extremely high sound pressure levels. Ravers will not know where they are, it will be dirty, it will be haunted. Secret City have really shown what Halloween raving is all about and that it is not about dressing up in cat costumes and getting a one night stand.

Here’s a little preview of what the slaughter house looks like:
